What to Pack for an East African Safari

Mornings on safari can be surprisingly cool, and afternoons hot - layering is your best friend. Pack neutral, breathable clothing (avoid bright white and dark blue/black, which attract insects), a wide-brimmed hat, high-SPF sunscreen, and a lightweight rain jacket depending on season. A good pair of binoculars and a camera with a zoom lens will make every sighting more rewarding.
